BLUE MT | The Light One LTF B

The BLUE MOUNTAIN (BLUE MT) was TEAM FIVE’s first light-weight glider and was awarded LTF certification. Alongside the BLUE, the BLUE MT has been approved for category B.

Better Performance

It’s easy handling when launching mean better transparency. It also shows its great strengths when flying in thermals. It can be flown reverse in thermals and it can be flown smoothly up out of very gentle thermals.

Lighter

You can use the top quality durable 27g/m² fabric (70000 E71A) and the 12mm wide riser, that is easy to hold, along with the 0.6 mm top line, to reduce the BLUE MT’s weight by 30 % so that it weighs only 3.5 kg (from size) when launching. To save even more weight you can use TEAM FIVE’s GREY MT (harness). It only weighs 3.1 kg and is available with an airbag.

Quality

Despite the weight reduction the BLUE MT has not sacrificed material quality in any way. In fact only the very best is good enough. So for example a 40g piece of fabric is used in sensitive areas such as the upper wing at the cell openings (9017 E77A water repellent).
